" I am strong. I am beautiful. I am me. I am one of a kind. I am amazing."
So, I am going to start each blog off with an affirmation and the above line, is this weeks affirmation. Say it and believe it, because it is the truth. Okay on to the blog.
This week, I was on Facebook and one of my ex's posed the question of what to do when you are ready to move on. My answer is , just move. There isn't really a guide to moving on , especially when you are moving on from a relationship. You just start moving.
Now, my daughters father has been gone for almost 4 years and although I have entertained a few guys, I haven't been in a relationship. What I have chose to do in the past 4 years that I have been single, is to focus on bettering myself, and focus on being a better mother. Being a relationship is the last thing that I want right now (well today lol ) because I am so busy working on myself and being a mommy, that I don't have time for a relationship and that is okay.
I don't think that being so focused on a relationship is healthy, because it's taking away time that could be used to better yourself. Remember that there is always room for improvement. Whenever God chooses to bring someone into your life, don't you want to be the best version of yourself so that y'all can be a strong and solid unit and then continue to grow together? That's what I want!
So what do you do when you are ready to move on? You focus on yourself!
