strawberry Letter

Affirmation: I am strong, focused, and persistent. I will never quit.

This morning I was listening to the Steve Harvey morning show and I like listening to the strawberry letter to get a little bit of morning foolishness and laughter. This particular letter was about a woman who lived with her boyfriend of four years. They both wanted marriage, but unfortunately he wanted to take the next step with someone else. He found that 'someone else' and of course ended up cheating. Like most women, she ended up blaming herself and wrote the letter in an attempt to find out what she did wrong in the relationship.

I know I have been down the road of 'It's My Fault' a time or two, and truth of the matter is sometimes it's not you. Sometimes situations and relationships just aren't meant to be. There was this guy that I called myself talking to. He was cool, but he lacked ambition, which is something I swore I wouldn't deal with again. For no particular reason, we fell off and lost contact. There was nothing wrong with him. Nothing wrong with me. We just weren't right for each other.

Moral of the story is, don't blame yourself over something that isn't meant to be. Move forward. Know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You are amazing and one of a kind. Stop trying to find your faults. You're perfectly imperfect Queen.
