A few weeks ago I watched an IG live with Letoya Luckett and Pastor Cora Jakes Coleman, and at first I was a little skeptical about tuning in, but the segment was a blessing to me and it was what I needed to hear.
Pastor Coleman presented the question "What do you do when God isn't godding the way you would God, if you were God?" (i.e. What do you do when God is allowing you to go through/ experience things, that you don't think you should have to go through/experience? What do you do when God doesn't allow the door to be open when you want it to be opened? What do you do if He doesn't open it the way you way you want it to be open?)
"What do you do when God isn't godding the way you would God, if you were God?"
The answer is that you continue to have faith. You continue to believe that God is not hurting you to break you, but he is instead pruning you for greatness. You pray and ask God to allow you to be strong until the meantime. And you continue to believe that His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts, so if our mind can conceive it, its too simple-minded for Him.
"What do you do when God isn't godding the way you would God, if you were God?"
You trust that He is STILL God!
