But you don't know...

When I got pregnant with my daughter, I automatically knew that people would assume that she was my ex husband's child simply because of her light complexion and them not being aware of my relationship status.

The other day, I ran into a family friend and after she told me how cute my baby is 😀 she asked me if I was spoiling her ( I am) and then she said "Is your husband spoiling her?" I laughed and told her that I wasn't married. She then proceeded to say that I gave up to easy and she said a slew of other foolish nonsense.

I could have sat her down and told her all of the things that I endured from day one....but why? She's more than welcome to read my blog though! Lol

I'm 100% sure that divorce was right for me. Now, I am not a divorce advocate and I think if it can be worked out, it should but both people have to be willing to make it work and to do the work.

I said all of that to say this: when you have done your best and what's best for you, don't let anyone steal your peace regarding that situation. They can't speak on what they don't know. Ignore their opinion and comments and keep it moving!
