So Sage the Gemini and Jordin Sparks whom I’ve been a fan of since her season of American Idol days, were together for like 10 months and they have recently split. This morning, while I was minding my own business of course, I saw that he posted the most heartfelt apology on IG to Jordin (profanity has been edited in the post) The post was deleted probably after his ego kicked in, but luckily I saved a snap shot of the picture that I saw on Facebook! I love my phone!
Anyway as I was reading it, I was thinking to myself “I’ll take you back Sage. We can work it out!” (Don’t judge Me. lol) It seems like he and Jordin were really in love. He definitely has my vote for the public display of affection even though he deleted the post. I don’t know who broke it off with whom but from the post, I can only assume that he messed up and she broke it off, but don’t quote me on that. It amazes me that a lot of males have to lose you to publicly be like “Baby I love you.” “Baby, you are the best.” “Baby you are the only one for me.” I am not saying that they weren’t open with their love before, but this post right here, this takes the cake.
From the love that they had, it seems like the kind of relationship that we all dream of. Cuddling all night, holding hands, laughing together, being each other’s go-to; that Bonnie and Clyde love minus the crime and the death! And if you ask me, he has to really love her because he realized quickly that he does not want to lose her.
It takes a man to have a moment and be that vulnerable and open about his feelings for a woman. If I were Jordin, I would take him back in a heartbeat. Why? Because everybody makes mistakes and if you can see a future with a person, you make it work. With that being said, there is a fine line between putting forth effort and then just being foolish. But love makes you foolish sometimes. It's a shame!
