The Art of Celibacy
Sunday a story leaked about Ciara being pregnant by her boo-thang Russell Wilson and because I think that he is a good guy, I just don't want to believe it. When they initially started dating they made an open statement that they would not be sexually intimate with each and I think that that is beyond commendable.
In a society like the one that we live in, people are just so freely giving of themselves, people don't seem to value having a connection not based on sex. We sadly live in a THOT-Proud society (Did anybody else watch Black Ink Crew Reunion? That Donna! SMH, she’s THOT-Proud!) People walking around just letting it all hang out, letting everybody see everything and giving everybody everything.
I know that there are some people who uphold God's desires and save themselves for marriage, or rededicate their bodies to God. I am one of those, well was one of those people who rededicated their body after years of giving it away. Not to everybody, lol, but to people who didn’t deserve to have my all. There is no such thing as a quickie, a one-night-stand or a hit-it-and-quit-it. Having sex is just not physical and whether or not you proclaim your love for that other person or whether they are just something to do, you connect with that person in that moment and you could carry their spirit with you the rest of your life.
Your Body is a Work of Art! NO matter your size, if you look like a coke bottle, an apple or a pear, you're beautiful and only a man smart enough to make you his wife, deserves all of you! Queen’s, value your body enough to not just give it away, God has better for you than what you are settling for.
